OB-PS Board
The Board of directors of the OB-PS consists of members who have been nominated from amongst the membership to serve on the Board. Currently, they serve for a period of five years, although that is currently under discussion, and the Board can consist of up to 15 members.
The Board has the responsibility of directing the policy of the Society, taking care of its business in between Members’ meetings, and giving reports to the members at their meetings during the Events. They are also actively involved in the recruitment of new OB-PS members.
Since they only meet once or twice a year, much of their business is undertaken by telephone and email. The Board is led by the President, Vibeke Riemer from Denmark, and the Vice-President, Ginny Radford from New Zealand. The Patron of the Society, HRH Princess Benedikte of Denmark, is an active participant in Board meetings, and attends each meeting.
