Young women given opportunity to attend conference- Two young women were able to attend the 13th European Guide and Scout Conference in Brussels
New members, president and Board- Vibeke Riemer from Denmark is the new OB-PS President. Vibeke has been involved in fund development for WAGGGS for many years and has been a board member for OB-PS. The new Vice President is Ginny Radford (New Zealand).
OB-PS funds three WAGGGS participants to COP15- Twenty-three people from seven developing countries and six developed countries attended the United Nations climate change conference (COP15) as part of the WAGGGS delegation.
OB-PS celebrates 100 years of Girl Guiding and Girl Scouting- Due to be held in Bath next May, the OB-PS Annual Event has met with a great response and we no longer accept any further registrations. It will celebrate the centenary of Guide/Girl Scout Movement and explore one of the most wonderful cities in the world.
